Love Message

Poppy loves cards for her birthday and Christmas - they're SO shredable. But her favourite is Valentines Day when I pop a few treats in the envelope.

I've found a really cool place to buy or even design your own. And it's not just cards, you can have bags, mats, stickers, cups, even skate boards and shoes - the human kids will love that.

They're good quality, not expensive and the delivery is speedy.

Best Friends

Oh so cute! I've just been emailed a photo of Poppy's best friends. They're much bigger now, but she still has them running round in circles.

She's not seen it yet as she's still asleep after her night out.

Poppy would love to hear about your little monster's best mates .

Night on the tiles!

Well, she may look cute but I can certainly say she's no lady!

After spending a night out on the tiles, she appeared this morning wet, bedraggled and covered in blood from a small wound on her neck.

Now was she grateful when I dried her, bathed her wound and gave her a cuddle?
No, she was not.

She just demanded her breakfast - which she ate very rapidly - and is now asleep in a box, purring contentedly.

Oh, I forgot to mention - there's half a mouse on the back door step.

 Has anyone else got a cat like mine?

Just who is in charge here?

People do say that you can train cats, but I think I must be a real pushover because Poppy always seems to get what she wants from me.

However hard I try to resist ...I don't know whether it's that soleful look or plaintive cry... but I always seem to be the one that backs down first and gives her food when she demands it or make excuses for her when she claws the carpet.

Well now I've learned it's not really my weakness because - 'scientists have identified one of their insidious feline tactics'.

Hi Cat Lovers,

Poppy my moggy is almost five now, but unfortunately her brain doesn't seem to have grown along with her body.

I've bought her lots of toys and lovely beds and blankets to curl up on - but she just sniffs at them and turns her back. Where does she like to sleep? 

Let me tell you some of her favourites:-

• inside the washing machine
• coal box
• under the floor boards (she nearly got fastened in when we were rewiring)
• under the kitchen units
• any cardboard box she can find
• in the greenhouse etc etc

We nearly lost her when we were renovating our house. She was fast asleep in the rubbish skip when the guy came to take it away.

Now you may find this amusing but she's supposed to be mostly white... well she was when I first brought her home. She's totally nutty... but I love her lots 'n lots.
